309 stainless steel arc welding rods are designed for the welding of stainless 304, 316, 321, or 410 grades to mild steel and low alloyed steels. 309 electrodes are oft utilised in the repair and maintenance sector for welding buffer layers on dissimilar joints, offering good corrosion resistance. Their smooth welding arc characteristics & suitability for high temperature jobs make them a great allrounder.
